Demi Lovato Let It Go Hits Top Of Indonesia Top 30 Charts

Indonesia: Demi Lovato has hit the Number One spot in the Indonesia Top 30 Asia chart with her song, “Let It Go”, which features on the original soundtrack to the movie, ‘Frozen’.

The movie, released in US theatres on November 27th, is a Walt Disney production and is about a teenager called Anna who finds herself transported to a deep forest setting where a battle between the forces of good and evil is taking place.

Demi released a video to ‘Let It Go’ on November 1st, featuring her wandering in a mansion and moving from dark through to light, portraying the theme of the film. In the film the ballad is performed by the character of Elsa, the Snow Queen, played by Idina Menzel. This inspired the lyrics, which include, ” The snow blows white on the mountain tonight / Not a footprint to be seen / A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I’m the Queen / The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside / Couldn’t keep it in, heaven knows I tried”

In an interview with MTV, Jennifer Bell, who plays the lead character Anne, explained more about the video. “The movie is about a pair of sisters — one who has the power to freeze things, and it happens when she is fearful or angry,” she said. “And because of feeling terrified to show that to the world, she sort of runs away and freezes the town accidentally. I play the sister Anna, who makes it her mission to travel across these snowy lands and bring her sister back amidst the fact that they’re fighting and kind of at that point hate each other. It’s kind of how they make up and find love in the end.”
