Gentle Bones lands fourth #1 spot with “Sixty Five”


Singaporean musician, Joel Tan, also known as Gentle Bones, released his brand new single “Sixty Five” on 10th July, Friday and hit the #1 spot on iTunes Singapore within 24 hours of its release.

“Sixty Five” is currently holding the #2 spot on Music Weekly Asia’s Singapore charts, this marks the fourth #1 that the artist has achieved on iTunes Singapore. The other three number one achievements were for his self-titled debut EP, his previous singles “Until We Die” & “Save Me”.



The song is also a taste of what is to come from his upcoming new EP, due for release in the fourth quarter of 2015. ‘Sixty Five’ is a song written for the upcoming Singapore film “1965”, which opens in cinemas 30th July 2015.


Directed by Randy Ang and co-directed by Daniel Yun, ‘1965’ is a riveting dramatic thriller that uses a piece of Singapore history like never before. ‘1965’ stars Qi Yuwu, Deanna Yusooff, Joanne Peh, James Seah, Sezairi, Mike Kasem, and Lim Kay Tong as Lee Kuan Yew.
