Miley, Demi and Taylor Dominate Charts

Who run the world? Girls. More specifically, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift and they are dominating the Singapore and Filipino charts this week. The girls are amongst the youngest on the charts and have careers that would make any wannabe superstar envious. Miley and Demi were welcomed into the Disney family as pre-teens where they made their start. And Taylor Swift? She was the youngest songwriter ever hired by Sony/ATV.

 

Miley Cyrus – “We Can’t Stop”

Miley’s track “We Can’t Stop” makes an appearance on both Singapore and Filipino charts coming in at number 29 and 21, respectively. The official music video, filmed in LA, premieres today on VEVO.

 

Taylor Swift – “I Knew You Were Trouble”

 

Taylor Swift – “Everything Has Changed” (feat. Ed Sheeran)

In the Singapore charts Taylor Swift’s singles “I Knew You Were Trouble” came in at number 10 and “Everything Has Changed (feat. Ed Sheeran) at number 12. Both track are taken from her fourth studio album Red which she is currently on the road promoting on her Red Tour.

 

Demi Lovato – “Heart Attack”

Demi Lovato’s “Heart Attack” came in at number 7 on the Singapore charts. Her vocal stylings have been compared to Kelly Clarkson and the single has been remixed over  two dozen times.
