It seems like every second day there’s a new festival announcement in the already jam packed Southeast Asian festival circuit and today is no exception.

Wanderland is returning to Manila on March 15 for a third edition of the popular festival and they’ve announced a huge first act in Death Cab for Cutie. The Grammy nominated band headed by prolific singer-songwriter Ben Gibbard will head over to the Philippines to co-headline the Wanderland’s 2016 edition.

Known for their expansive soundscapes and emotive music, the award-winning band is known for their songs like “Marching Bands of Manhattan,” “Transatlanticism,” “What Sarah Said,” and “I Will Follow You into the Dark.” They last visited Manila in 2012 and have released the album Kintsugi since then.

The news about their impending performance was released through Twitter by the band themselves:

Last year Manila was entertained by a host of local and international talent including Augustana, Kid Cuti, RAC and The Jungle Giants so expect more releases in the coming weeks.

Presale starts tomorrow (Friay 18/9) at 10am local time.
