Lenny Kravitz Booked For Exclusive Performance In Malaysia


Superstar Lenny Kravitz has been booked to perform at the after race performance for the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix (F1) on March 29.

The 50 year old singer exploded into the public eye after the release of his 1989 debut album Let Love Rule and since then, this talented writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist has produced another 9 studio albums.


Known for his unique blend of rock, soul, reggae and psychadelic rock, his iconic singles “Are You Gonna Go My Way?”, “American Woman”, “Fly Away” and “Again” have become modern classics. Across his illustrious career, he has been the recipient of four Grammys, setting a record for the most wins in the ‘Best Male Rock Performance’ category.


Across his 20 years he has been performing, Kravitz has sold more than 38 million records and his latest album Strut has been named as one of Rolling Stone’s 50 best albums of 2014 list.


Prior to his Malaysian performance Kravitz will be performing with Katy Perry at the 2015 Superbowl and is then due to continue his world tour through Japan and Australia before taking off to rock out Europe.


The after race performance is to be held at the Malaysia Grand Prix at the Sepang International Circuit helipad and will also feature local stars in addition to Kravitz’s 70 minute show. The performance is open to all F1 race ticket holders at no extra charge.
