EXO draw more than 20,000 fans to Impact Arena, Bangkok for second sell out tour in 10 months

EXO-live-bangkokK-pop sensation EXO have just completed the Thai leg of their concert tour, EXO Planet #2 The EXO’luXion, performing on Saturday and Sunday to over 20,000 fans at Bangkok’s Impact Arena.

The group previously performed in Seoul, Shanghai and Taipei before performing in Bangkok. The amazing thing is that it was just 10 months ago that the group sold over 22,000 seats, selling out the same venue in just 20 minutes. Indeed ticket scarcity has been a common theme in EXO shows, with their ultra loyal fan base scrambling to get tickets for shows as soon as they are released. A notable example was earlier this year with 1.2 million fans rushing to buy the 75,000 tickets available when their show went on sale for a performance in Korea.

Before the group had even touched down on their plane, Twitter was awash with messages of support, with fans showing their love with the hashtag #WelcomeEXOtoThailand on the Friday afternoon immediately before their arrival. Diehard fans were camped out at the airport, hotel and concert grounds waiting to catch a glimpse of their idols before and after the shows.

Their performance began their performance with their song “Overdose” and continued with a parade of their other hits including “Call Me Baby,” “Love Me Right,” “Mama,” and “Exodus.” All in all they performed 28 songs and had the crowd on their feet in rapturous applause.

This latest tour is in support of their second album “Love Me Right” which was released earlier this month. With how much love there is for EXO from Thai fans, it’s easy to see why they like coming back so much and no doubt they will be returning again very soon.
