Madonna to tour the Philippines for the first time ever in 2016

She is the best-selling female rock artist of the 20th century, ranked only behind The Beatles on the Billboard Hot 100 All-Time Top Artists, making her the most successful solo artist in the history of American singles chart. And now, Madonna is finally coming to Manilla for the first time EVER as part of her Rebel Heart tour on February 24, 2016.

Live Nation and MMI are bringing the pop royalty, most known for her hits “Like a Virgin” and “Material Girl,” to perform a one-night-only concert on February 24 (Wednesday) at Manilla’s 12,000-seater Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena in Pasay City.

The Rebel Heart Tour commences on Sept. 9 in Canada and continues throughout North America and UK/Europe before heading to Asia, New Zealand and Australia next year across. The tour will see Madonna playing 63 dates across the globe but only a single show in Asia. “Madonna continues to be one of the most successful touring artists in history. Her shows are always legendary and we are thrilled to have her back on tour,” says Arthur Fogel, president of Global Touring and chairman of Global Music.
