Sundown Festival 2013 Quip: AOA

by

In the second part of our Sundown Festival 2013 Quip, the bright and gorgeous girls from K-pop band AOA aka AceOfAngels answer our five short questions about their music, favourite tracks and what the special AOA drink would be. The festival will be gathering ten established and up-and-coming acts from eight Asian countries – Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and of course, Korea on Saturday, the 16th of November in Singapore.

Question 1

Hello, we are AOA. We are very happy to be a part of Sundown Festival. Last year, we visited Singapore for Music Matters and we were very surprised that so many fans welcomed us. We are sure that we are going to show you a good performance at Sundown Festival.

Question 2

We describe ourselves as the two colours white and black. We think those two colours match us very well because we want to show contrasting side of us, like white and black.

Question 3-

We want let our fans hear our recently released “Confused. This dance song stands out with impressive arrangement. Unlike before, you can see us more mature and transformed. We try to show our loving and desperate emotion in our songs. The lyrics that express a highly addictive melody and confused mind is the main point of this new track.

We want to let you hear our song “MOYA” that was released last summer. “MOYA” is an exciting reggae track on which we play the guitar, keyboard, drums and bass.

Question 4

We would be a Bubble Smoothie. Adding bubble in a smoothie gives charm and unique colours to it, just like AOA.

Question 5

We love every song in FTISLAND’s THANKS TO album especially “Memory“. This song is written by Lee Hong Ki. Also, we love to listen to “I’m sorry” by CNBLUE. This song is written by Jung Yong Hwa and we like its repeated melody. Because we are a music and dance band, we really like FTISLAND and CNBLUE very much.
