Chris Brown Has Probation Revoked… Is He Headed To Jail Again?

Chris Brown has gotten himself in trouble with the law yet again. According to The Huffington Post, Brown has again had his parole revoked when it was revealed that he attended a concert where a gun battle broke out resulting in 5 people being shot.

There were no indications that Brown was involved in the incident which left five people injured, but according to strict guidelines stemming from his 2009 domestic violence charges involving pop icon Rihanna, Brown still requires permission to travel which he did not seek in this case. Brown also still has an estimated 200 hours left of community service to complete in just over a week and a half.

On January 11, Brown performed at the Fiesta Club in San Jose, California  but according to his probation guidelines, he needed to have permission to attend. Why? Well according to Probation Officer Carlos Delgado, there is “concern that when he performs or attends at (sic) some of his public events, people will get shot or seriously injured.”

This concern doesn’t seem unwarranted after a string of violent incidents where Brown has just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Death Row records founder Suge Knight was shot six times at a pre-VMA party hosted by Brown in August 2014, he was arrested for striking a man outside a Washington D.C hotel in October 2013 and was in trouble with the law for a hit and run in May 2012.

According to Delgado Brown “continues a pattern of making choices that are counter productive.” Appearing with his mother and girlfriend, Brown was informed that he will remain free at least until a March 20 hearing date at when the judge will receive an update from probation officials.
