Spotlight on Urbanscapes: OJ Law

Hello! How would you describe OJ Law’s sound?

An appetising mélange of rock, soul with a sprinkling of electronica and dark chocolate.

What are your thoughts on playing at Urbanscapes Festival and what are you most looking forward to?

Urbanscapes was actually my first show back in 2009. I played to about 15 people at 1pm! So it’s nice to be able to go back to where it all began.

What can festival-goers expect from your set at Urbanscapes?

Good tunes and a good time. This will be my last show of the year and then I’m taking a break to write and record new material. So I want to make it a good one!

If you could collaborate with one other act that is also performing at Urbanscapes, who would you pick and what do you think the collaboration would sound like?

Charlie Lim. We would both sing in ridiculously high falsetto. The indie Bee Gees.

Grab some popcorn and watch OJ Law’s fresh new music video of ‘My Life As A Film’ and  then get connected via his Facebook page here.
