Crush of the Day: High Places – ‘Year Off’

High Places

High Places is Robert Barber and Mary Pearson, an electro-noise-experimental duo from Brooklyn (yes, again) that relocated to Los Angeles. I discovered the band a few years back at O-nest Shibuya, in a quite underground live event, where I came to check another duo, Wildbirds & Peacedrums. To say it frankly, I left during High Places performance, but recently came across their track Year Off – that came out a year ago – via a recent obscure German compilation. So that’s my year off, and here’s the track which might be locked in your head for a while.
