The 2015 Grammy Awards Performers List Just Keeps Getting Bigger

Veteran rockers AC/DC and seven time Grammy Award winning diva Madonna will join a slew of young stars in performing at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards that will take place on February 8th.

Madonna will be performing for a staggering fifth time whilst AC/DC, who took home a Grammy for best hard rock performance in 2010 will join what’s sure to be another star studded affair. It is doubtful that drummer Phil Rudd will be joining them as he is due to face court in New Zealand two days after the scheduled performance for a list of charges including allegedly hiring a hitman.

They round off a number of younger performers including Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande and Eric Church as acts that have been already announced, all of whom stand a good chance to take home one of the coveted awards.

Grande has been nominated for two awards this year: best pop vocal for ‘My Everything’ and best pop duo/group performance for ‘Bang Bang’ (along with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj). Sheeran has three nominations for Album of the year and best pop vocal album for x and best song written for visual media for ‘I See Fire’. Church is in contention for four awards: best country song and best country solo performance for ‘Give Me Back My Hometown,’best country album for The Outsiders and best country duo/group performance for ‘Raise ‘Em Up’ (with Kieth Urban).

The awards ceremony is consistently one of the world’s most watched concerts, attracting an audience in excess of 28 million people in the United States and many times that globally. Their performer list is often unrivalled in the industry so stay tuned for more news.

The awards ceremony is to be hosted at the Staples Centre and will be telecast across the globe on February 8.
