Indie festival favorite returns to Thailand for winter


The winter festival season is warming up in Thailand with the announcement of the return of Stone Free Music Festival, to be held in Khao Wong, Saraburi from December 11 -13.


The event comes in one week prior to a big weekend of festivals including Wonderfruit (December 17 – 20) and Big Mountain Festival, which has relocated to a new location at Kaengkrachan Country Club, Phetchaburi (December 19 – 20).


The Stone Free Music Festival is returning for a fourth edition after taking a year sabbatical last year. Whilst the lineup has still not been released, previous editions of the festival have seen the likes of Thai favourites Stylish Nonsense, Yellow Fang, The Sticky Rice and Abstraction XL grace the stage for intimate performances in the open air festival.

The news was announced via a Facebook post the multi-day independent festival invites campers to enjoy nature and come together for a celebration of music and community. Tickets have been available in the past from a very reasonable B 1,000.
