Kodaline to headline inaugural LaLaLa festival in Indonesia’s West Java


If you didn’t already have enough of a hit list of festivals across Southeast Asia like Vietnam’s Quest, Hong Kong’s Clockeflap, Thailand’s Wonderfruit or Singapore’s Neon Lights, Indonesia has just been announced as the new home for LaLaLa festival.



Touching down in the tropical woodland of Pine Forest Cikole, Lembang, Bandung, LaLaLa will take place on the 5th of November of talent for their first edition and whilst few details have been revealed about the festival, the first details of the lineup have just dropped.


Following their successful Asian tour in 2015, Irish rock band Kodaline will be headlining the festival, joined by London-based newcomer Jasmine Thompson (Robin Schulz’s “Sun Goes Down”), Austrian electronic house duo behind “New Orleans,” Naxxos, Korean rapper Keith Ape, and Filipino acoustic band MYMP.


The local contingent consists of neo-soul group Maliq & D’Essentials, RnB singer Teza Sumendra, indie act Kimokal and pop star Maudy Ayunda.Stay tuned for further announcements in the coming weeks.
