Dust off your weirdest and most wonderful costumes because Wonderfruit is returning for a triumphant third edition. Heading back to its traditional heartland at The Fields at Siam Country Club, the sustainability focussed festival is back, celebrating another year of music, culture and art.
With the stunning natural beauty of Thailand as its backdrop, Wonderfruit takes place from 15 – 18 of December and attrcts attendees from all across the globe with its four stages of world-class international and local music, visionary arts, culinary farm to feasts, health and wellness experiences, engaging talks and workshops, natural adventures and more.
This year’s diverse, international lineup includes live drum and bass outfit Rudimental and Mercury Prize-winning hip hop three-piece, Young Fathers. Joining them will be Wolf + Lamb, JUNUN, featuring Shye Ben Tzur & the Rajasthan Express, Kate Simko and the LEO, plus DJs Matador, Mad Professor and Nastia. Billing itself as a sustainability focussed festival, the emphasis is beyond just music and the organizers have made a bold ambition to be completely sustainable within five years. The site has implemented water systems, developed a farm and uses a lot of recycled and natural materials in their build.
The inaugural event in 2014 was heralded by Pulse Radio as “Asia’s best new festival” and Billboard has referred to it as a “far flung festival worth travelling for.”
The three-day festival includes a range of accommodation options including a host of nearby hotels, boutique camping for those that are looking for a bit of luxury and convenience along with the general camp area where attendees can pitch their tent for free.
