Lollapalooza has announced its star studded festival lineup with a swoon-worthy collection of bands and artists to wet the appetite of any serious music fan.

Paul McCartney and hard rockers Metallica will command centre stage at the three day annual music festival held at Chicago’s Grant Park at the end of July. The lineup features Sam Smith, Florence and The Machine, Bassnectar, Tame Impala, Chet Faker, Alabama Shakes, Of Monsters and Men and many more in a smorgasboard of music.

The festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Chicago and this year, with more than 100,000 revelers expected to come out for the festival. Lollapalooza is in the midst of a successful global expansion into international markets in Germany, Chile, Argentina and Brazil before it settles back into the ‘Windy City’. Just don’t get your hopes up on getting your hands on a cheap ticket. It took just 45 minutes for 3 day and single day General Admission passes to sell out leaving only VIP and Platinum passes at a hefty $1850 and $3600 respectively.
