Soak Up the Sun at Shanghai’s Zebra Music Festival

It’s all about the beach and the beats for this year’s Zebra Music Festival! Setting up on Shanghai Jinsha Beach from July 19-21, the festival is holding three whole days of varied activities for music fans and fun-seekers on stages Heaven, Earth and Ocean. 

Interactive activities like campus band competitions await the Heaven stage, while the Earth Stage serves as the platform for your favorite music acts. Lineup includes famous Taiwanese artist Elva Hsiao, Hong Kong pop singer Khalil Fong, Singapore artist YiDa, Taiwanese groups JPM and Popu lady, Swedish band The Deer TracksSPACEPIMPS from US, Bottom line from UK, as well as a bunch of emerging acts from Mainland China: Heyson MaPlastic Chocolate, GAIA, ZINA PUNX, Xiao Pi, Yu Guo and Yi Shi. Zebra Music Festival are also throwing in a couple of Korean bands like Story SellerZe: A Five and Siberian Husky. Lastly, the Ocean stage is hosting an awesome electro party with DJs spinning for the crowd. 

Sounds good for you yet? If you’re not just about the music, film buffs can trust the mobile cinema to show movies from 5-9pm every night. And for the sporty bunch? Professional coaches form the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will drop by to promote the sport, on top of the various beach sports and games that will take place on the event.

Seems like everything’s covered in this festival, folks – from music to film, sports and various activities, this is certainly the perfect weekend to go to the beach, not to unwind, but to party hard.
