Spotlight on Urbanscapes: Part III

In continuation of our special feature highlighting the musical line-up of Urbanscapes Festival, we chat to Malaysia’s very own reggae outfit, Salammusik, self-described ‘student of melody’ OJ Law, our favourite indie-folk threesome from Hong Kong, 9 Maps, as well as Singapore’s swingin’ soulchild, Charlie Lim. Read their mini-interviews below to find out which act has dreams of forming an ‘indie Bee Gees’, which act incorporates irama Melayu into their music, which act finds Urbanscapes Festival a ‘sentimental’ affair and which act might possibly be doing a Frank Ocean cover. Needless to say, we can’t wait!
