Gallery: Demi Lovato wows Singapore in the first stop of her world tour

demi-lovato world tourSingapore was treated to the Demi Lovato experience as she unleashed her first full-scale concert tour in the country. Attracting a sold out crowd, The Demi Lovato: World Tour In Singapore 2015 was held at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre Singapore on 28th of April. This performance marks the multi talented, platinum-selling recording artist’s first appearance in Singapore since 2013 and the first stop on her world tour.

3,000 Lovatics (as her fans refer to themselves) filled the stadium to catch the 22 year old dynamo performing a 70 minute show where she performed a blistering 15 songs in rapid succession. Taking full command of the stage, Lovato didn’t resort to flashy pyrotechnics, an army of backup dancers or incredibly elaborate set designs for her performance. Across the entire performance she only ever had a single costume change. With just two back up vocalists and a four man band, the focus was clearly all on her and she didn’t fail to deliver, her powerful voice reverberating through the arena.

She delivered rousing performances of a number of her smash hits including “Heart Attack,” “Skyscraper,” “Don’t Forget,” “Get Back,” “Give Your Heart a Break” and “Unbroken” before returning to the stage for an encore with 2013’s smash “Neon Lights.”
