Austin Mahone is coming to Singapore this April!

Austin Mahone has delighted fans with the announcement that he plans to come to the Lion City this coming April.

Austin Mahone closed out an eventful 2015 by dropping a mixtape of 19 all-new songs, aptly entitled “This Is Not The Album” for his faithful Mahomies as they await his official full-length debut. The mixtape release follows the singer’s summer single, “Dirty Work,” which has been praised by press worldwide, with Billboard declaring “Dirty Work” the singer’s, ‘best and most ambitious single to date’. The single became a worldwide trending topic and shot Austin to the top of the Billboard social charts!

In the past two years, the performer has headlined his own sold-out tours, including MTV’s Artist to Watch tour and a nationwide summer tour. This was not the pop star’s first time on the road, having opened for Taylor Swift’s RED Tour in the summer of 2013. In 2013, Austin also won the MTV VMA for Best New Artist, being named MTV’s “Artist to Watch”.

Austin Mahone got his start after videos he posted online went viral and started racking up thousands of hits. Born in San Antonio, Texas, Mahone, started singing at a young age and in 2010 began posting YouTube clips of himself singing cover songs by artists like Justin Bieber, Jason Mraz, and others. In 2012, Mahone signed to Chase/Universal Republic Records and released several singles, including “Mmm Yeah” featuring Pitbull and “Say You’re Just a Friend,” featuring rapper Flo Rida.

His previous hit singles, “What About Love” and “Mmm Yeah” have collectively garnered more than 250 million views on YouTube.
