That’s right! This is your chance to be a part of one of the biggest festivals of its kind in the Southeast Asian region. The program invites artists to create artwork according to the theme of ‘Future Human’ and is providing grants of up to HK$50,000 (US$6445) for successful applicants for a range of project including static and kinetic installations to immersive environments and live performances.

The theme of “Future Human” is designed to facilitate an exploration of the relationship between man and machine, which according to Clockenflap release, allows us to “delve deeper into visions of our future such as artificial intelligence, immortality, robotics, and virtual reality.” Successful applicants would then have their work showcased to more than 30,000 attendees at the three-day event.

Previously announced visual artists include UK based musical theatre and psychedelic vaudeville cabaret Yeti’s Demon Dive Bar, Australian improv trio Aunty Donna, Korean artist and designer Jun Seo Hahm and Sweden’s All Genius, All Idiot.

On the musical side of things, this year’s event has pulled together an incredible lineup featuring Foals, Sigur Ros, Jose Gonzalez, LCD Soundsystem Sekai No Awari. Running from Friday, November 25 to Sunday, November 27, the festival will this year be held at its brand new location at Central Harbourfront.
