Moshcam Live presents Modern Baseball ”Live in Sydney”

Hot off the release of their critically acclaimed third album Holy Ghost, Philadelphia four piece Modern Baseball brought their intense and passionate performance to Sydney’s legendary Metro Theatre during January of 2017. Modern Baseball know how to put on a massive live show full of big riffs and hooks, honest lyrics and a powerful onstage presence. Moshcam Live was there and captured their first official live release “Live in Sydney“.

Modern Baseball – Live in Sydney reflects a band at their peak, but playing to a full house in a uniquely intimate and iconic venue. With a mix of new hits and old classics and vocals split between Brendan Lukens and Jake Ewald, it captures an incredible night that fans across the world will get to enjoy again and again.

Sadder news for their North American fans comes from an update Jake writes on the band’s Facebook:

“As much as it pains me to say this, we have decided to cancel our upcoming U.S. tour dates and festival appearances to take a break from Modern Baseball for a little while”

At Music Weekly Asia we wish the band well and will be comforting ourselves with this great live album until another chance comes along to experience Modern Baseball’s live performance.
