Muse announce dates for September Asian tour

Fans of alt rock superstars Muse can utter a collective ‘FINALLY!’ as they have announced a series of Asia tour dates for their hugely anticipated new album Drones.

After performing two well-received, large-scale shows in Singapore, the first in in 2007 and again in 2010, British rock powerhouse Muse are set to return to Asia. The tour comes in support of their upcoming album Drones and will see them playing shows across Korea, China, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Making themselves at home in the eminent Singapore Indoor Stadium after performing there with Saosin and Rise Against in 2010, Muse will be again taking centre stage in Singapore on September 26 and will take to the stage at Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld Expo on September 28.

Speaking about the concept behind the band’s seventh studio album, front man Matt Bellamy said: “The world is run by drones utilising drones to turn us all into drones. To me, drones are metaphorical psychopaths.
This album explores the journey of a human, from their abandonment and loss of hope, to their indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to their eventual defection from their oppressors.”

The promoters for the show have yet to be announced but ticket prices and venues have been confirmed by the bands themselves.
