Pharrell Williams makes South Korea ‘happy’ with announcement of first tour to Seoul


Award winning, multi-platinum superstar Pharrell Williams is confirmed to perform at ‘Audi Live 2015′. ACCESS ENT and AUDI KOREA will organize Pharrell Williams’ first live concert in Korea on August 14, 8pm at the Olympic Park’s Gymnastic Gymnasium in Seoul.



Singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, philanthropist and fashion designer Pharrell Williams has a string of accolades to his name including ten Grammys, two BBC Music awards and two BET awards. His smash single ‘Happy’ sold over 12 million copies, stayed in the UK Top 5 chart for 61 consecutive weeks and was Billboard’s #1 single for 2014. The feel-good anthem, the fourth track in 20 years to go triple platinum, also led to his first Academy Awards nomination and two Grammy nominations.


Williams, who is also the lead vocalist of hip hop/funk-rock band N.E.R.D released his first solo album ‘In My Mind’ in 2006, which debuted at #3 on the US Billboard. His latest studio album ‘[G I R L]’, which boasts appearances by Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys scored six nominations in the 2015 Grammy Awards (winning the Grammy for best pop solo performance for his smash hit ‘Happy’) and peaked at #1 in 12 countries.



A creative force behind numerous hits and album successes, he has produced for artists such as Beyoncé, Daft Punk, Ed Sheeran, Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, Robin Thicke and Madonna. He was even voted as one of Time Magazine’s most influential people in the world in 2014.
