Saigon International Music Week Set To Light Up The City

Saigon Sound System and Loud Minority are pleased to present the first ever Saigon International Music Week, starting on 26th of November. Dedicated music and arts space Cargo Bar will play host to a number of international acts, playing across four dates between November and early December.

 

To kick the event off , platinum selling English indie rock band The Vaccines. Having opened for everyone from The Rolling Stones to Arcade Fire, The Stone Roses to Red Hot Chili Peppers, this world conquering four piece act are set to scorch Saigon with their blistering live show. Expect high energy, euphoric abandon and sing-a-long anthems from one of the hottest bands on the planet at them moment.

Showcasing the finest in home grown talent, heavy metal act Black Infinity and alternative stallwarts White Noiz are set to bring the noise on November the 29th for a bit of local flavour throughout the Saigon International Music Festival.

The Lemonheads have been blessing us with their their sublime, melancholic rhythms since 1986 and are gracing Saigon for a very special once off show in Vietnam. Fronted by the charismatic Evan Dando, The Lemonheads have a fanatical fanbase across the globe and their performance is sure to be one of the shows of the year.

Fresh from Glastonbury and sold out shows across the globe, Australian indie heroes Jagwar Ma, are bringing their distinctive blend of electro synth pop to Cargo Bar on December 4th. Their meteoric rise after the release of their first album in 2013 has been nothing short of extraordinary and after seeing their performance live, it’s easy to see why.
