Ultra Music Festival is coming to Singapore and Philippines

EDM juggernaut Ultra Music Festival’s global domination plans show little sign of slowing down with the recent announcement to introduce the Miami based music brand to Singapore and the Philippines later this year.

The news comes on the back of plans for further expansion across South America in Bolivia and Peru, meaning that the festival, which attracts some of the biggest DJs in the world, will now have a presence across 15 different countries including Macau, Bali, Ibiza, Chile and Brazil.

Plans for a Singapore expansion were released during the Ultra Festival’s headline event in Miami earlier in the year but dates were not disclosed at the time. It has been officially released that Ultra Singapore will be held on September 19 at a yet to be determined location. Given the difficulties Future Music Festival Asia had in placating authorities concerns and securing their site over drug concerns, we’d hope they get their paperwork in order soon. The following weekend will see the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in the Philippines hosting the festival on September 26, with the previously announced Ultra Bali chapter sandwiched between these dates on September 24-25.

Lineups are yet to be announced for both festivals but tickets for each of the shows are on sale now through the Ultra website for the Singapore and Philippines shows.
