Nicki Minaj and Justin Bieber announced to perform at 2015 MTV Music Awards

The MTV Video Music Awards keeps boosting its star power with Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj both announcing that they will be performing at this year’s event.

The stars will be joining an all star cast of performers including Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Twenty One Pilots.

Multi-Platinum singer-songwriter Justin Bieber also announced via social media that he will perform “What Do You Mean,” the lead single from his highly anticipated new album, at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

Only @mileycyrus. Lol. It's true. I'm performing on the #vmas!! #bieberisback 🙂

Minaj took a more subtle approach. Slyly poking fun at the latest gossip headlines, Minaj made the revelation to her 32 million followers on Instagram by posting an image of an ultrasound with a tiny MTV Moonman rather than a baby.

Miley Cyrus will host the proceedings, and Kanye West will be receiving the ceremony’s highest honor, the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. We’re sure it won’t go to his head
