Pharrell Williams, Florence & The Machine to appear at Apple Music Festival

One Direction, Disclosure, Florence & The Machine and Pharrell Williams will be appearing at the rebranded Apple Music Festival next month. Apple announced on Tuesday that the musicians will be among the headlining performers at the 10-night festival at London’s iconic Roundhouse in Camden this coming September.

Previously known as the iTunes Festival, the eight-year-old concert event has been renamed the Apple Music Festival in support of the launch of Apple’s streaming service, Apple Music. Over the years the festival has seen over 550 artists perform to more than half a million fans, including  Lady Gaga, Elton John Adele, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Justin Timberlake, Beck, Kings of Leon, Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Muse.

All performances will be available for viewers to watch live and on-demand on Apple Music and additional coverage will be available on Apple’s recently launched radio station Beats 1 as well as backstage news and footage on Apple Music Connect.

“Wow, I’m so grateful to be performing at the Apple Music Festival. The Roundhouse is such a historic venue … there’s always a special energy in the crowd. Thank you for having me!” said Pharrell Williams. Niall Horan of One Direction added that his group is excited to return to London “to perform for our fans in the Roundhouse and around the world on Apple Music!”
