SORE Celebrates their 10th Birthday with New Single ‘Sssst…’



SORE is back with a new single, after their last album “Sombreros kiddos”, released in April 2010. “This song is a story about instability in a friendship,” lead singer Ade Firza Paloh said. ‘Sssst…’ release date coincides with SORE’s 10th birthday as a band, formed in early 2003.

Ade got the idea of ​​the music and lyrics while the rest of the band arranged the song. Reza Dwiputranto said, “We hope SORE can be enjoyed more widely, especially for people who do not know SORE at all.”

‘Sssst…’ is the first single of SORE’s upcoming compilation album that will be out on Record Store Day, April 20th, 2013. It will feature several songs from the band’s discography: first and second album, the five soundtracks the band wrote, plus three new tracks.

SORE (“late afternoon” in bahasa) is a “collage rock” 4-piece band from Jakarta, Indonesia, comprising of Ade Firza Paloh (Vocals and Guitar), Reza Dwiputranto (Guitar and Vocals), Awan Garnida (Bass and Vocals), and Bemby Gusti (Keyboards and Drums).
